The Peacocks continued NSIC play today with an afternoon matchup against the Beavers of Bemidji State. A goal by Bemidji State in the 99th minute was the first goal of the game, but all they needed as Upper Iowa dropped to 2-4 and 0-2 in Northern Sun play.

UIU dominated 20-2 in shot attempts through the first 90 minutes as well as corner kicks, 10-1. Those numbers didn't matter with one minute to play in the first overtime. On a corner from Kari McAllen, Kirsten Erickson headed the ball in giving the Beavers a 1-0 victory.

BSU goalkeeper, Sonja Barr gets the shutout victory which included five saves.

Upper Iowa gets back onto Pattison Field tomorrow at 1:00 PM as part of a women's/men's doubleheader to take on the Bulldogs of the University of Minnesota Duluth.
