The Peacocks will travel to Winona, Minn. today to battle the top seeded and NSIC Champion Warriors of Winona State.  The first kick of the match is scheduled for 5 p.m. under the lights at Maxwell Field.

Peacocks tied for sixth in the regular season standings, but tiebreakers with Augustana and Bemidji State dropped UIU to the number eight seed.

UIU’s series history with Winona State has been a bit one sided since the Peacocks’ transition to NCAA Division II.  The Peacocks are 0-11 against the Warriors. This season, the Peacocks lost at Winona State 2-0 in the teams' opening NSIC game.
