Heath Grimm is entering his 25th season in 2024-25 as the Head Wrestling Coach at Upper Iowa, a position he has held since the 2000-01 season.

During his tenure, Grimm has led the Peacocks to nine top-11 national finishes, including a second place finish (program best) in 2002; in which six Peacocks were named All Americans (program best), a third place finish in 2010, where UIU earned four All Americans including a National Champion, a National Runner Up, two third place finishers, and two fourth-place finishes (2011, 2018). In 2011 the Peacocks earned five All American including a National Champion, a third-place, a fifth-place and two sixth places. In 2018, UIU earned four All-Americans, including a National Champion and a National Runner-Up. In 2023, UIU earned three All-Americans, including a National Champion.

UIU followed the back-to-back NCAA trophies in 2010 and 2011 with a 6th place finish in 2012 and a 5th place finish in 2013.

During their first year in the GLVC, the Peacocks claimed a share of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Title in 2023-24. During the 2009-10 Peacocks claimed their third Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship. The 2006-07 and 2007-08 Peacocks claimed the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship as well. In 2007, the team finished as runner ups at the North Regional Championships, qualifying a program-record, eight individuals for the NCAA tournament. The Peacocks finished the NCAA Championships in 8th place, earning four All American honors including one National Champion. UIU also was recognized for the second consecutive season by the DII Coaches Association for team G.P.A. finishing 8th nationally.

Grimm was a four-year starter at Luther College (1991-94). During his career, he qualified for the NCAA Championships three times, earning All-American honors twice. Grimm was inducted into the Luther College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004.

The Osage, Iowa native earned his Bachelor's degree in Communications from Luther College in 1994. He has two daughters; Emma and Leah.
