Colter Bye (184) earned a berth to the 2023 NCAA Division II Championships with a runner-up finish at the NCAA Super Region V Championships on Saturday. Bye went 3-1 on the afternoon posting a 3-2 decision over Sam Kruger of Northern State, a 3-1 win in sudden victory thanks to a takedown of No. 8 Wyatt Lidberg of UMary and a 5-1 victory over Cayden White of Minot State in the semifinals. Bye's only loss on the day came to Parkside's No. 7 Reece Worachek in a 3-2 decision for the region title.
