Jacobsen ran in her first track & field event this winter when she ran the 3000-meter run at the MSU Open & Multi this weekend. The junior set the school record in the 6K this fall at the NCAA Cross Country Regional Championships, and now the Wauconda, Ill. native owns the 3000-meter record in track. Jacobsen finished the race in 11:54.17, better then 12 seconds faster than the record time set the week prior.
