Madie led the Peacocks with five goals over the weekend, leading UIU to a pair of wins against Northern State and MSU Moorhead. She opened the weekend with two goals in a 2-1 victory over NSU, then scored a hat trick against MSUM and added an assist in a 6-0 victory.

Edwards now has scored eight goals in her last four games, has scored in four straight and in six of the last eight games. She leads the conference with 13 goals this season and has 35 in her Peacock career, second all-time in UIU history.

Team

Peacocks swept the weekend, picking up wins against Northern State (2-1) and MSU Moorhead (6-0). Junior Lauren Sharp tallied points in both games over the weekend, recording two assists and a goal. Senior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Emanuel allowed just one goal and made 13 saves while recording her third shutout of the year. UIU will hit the road for a pair of matches at Southwest Minnesota State and Sioux Falls next weekend
