Lauren Buck (F, 5-11, Sr., Anamosa, Iowa, Anamosa HS)
  • Averaged 21 points and 11.5 rebounds in UIU’s two losses at MSU Moorhead and #7 Northern State
  • Shot 45.5% from the floor including 46.7% (7-15) from beyond the three-point arc
  • Buck added 3 blocks and 2.5 assists per game
 
Team
  • The Peacocks lost a pair of NSIC games on the road at MSU Moorhead (71-67) and #7 Northern State (68-58)
  • Upper Iowa held leads in both games midway through the second half, but couldn’t close out the victories on the road
  • In addition to Buck, Olivia Winkler (12 ppg, 6.5 rpg) and Lindsay Carroll (10 ppg, 4.5 apg, 4.5 rpg) also averaged double figures in scoring
  • UIU will host Southwest Minnesota State on Friday at 6 p.m. and then welcome the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday at 4 p.m.
