Upper Iowa University Athletics

The Peacock wrestling team took to the mats at the Augsburg College Open in Minneapolis, Minn. on Saturday. Upper Iowa placed 9 of their 13 attached wrestlers including a pair of champions and a pair of runner-ups in the Gold Brackets. While the majority of UIU's grapplers competed in the Gold Brackets, 3 Peacocks made their way through the Silver Brackets.

Edwin Cooper and Vance continued their strong starts to the 2013-14 campaign as each went undefeated and claimed titles at 149 and 174 pounds, respectively.
