Biography

2016-17: Went 11-7 as a redshirt junior with four falls, one tech fall and one mador decision... placed fifth at the Auggie-Adidas Open for the second consecutive year.

2015-16: Finished with a record of 13-7 with one major decision... placed fifth at the Auggie-Adidas Open.

2014-15: Wrestled in five tournaments and in the opening match vs. Waldorf... placed sixth at the Auggie-Adidas Open... placed third at the Don Parker Open to close out his redshirt freshman season.

2013-14: Redshirted.

High School: Georgean, a four-time Iowa State Tournament place winner for Assumption High School, wrapped up his high school career with a 185-15 record... as a senior, he went 40-1 at 152 pounds with the only loss coming in his first match of this year’s Iowa State Tournament... Georgean bounced back to claim third place in his final high school match... won the Iowa State Class 2A Championship at 152 pounds as a junior after placing fifth at 152 pounds as a sophomore and fourth at 140 pounds as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Nick Georgean Sr. and Candice Griffith... criminal justice major.
