2012-13: Played in 30 games while starting 22... averaged 6.7 points, 3.8 assists and 1.7 rebounds per contest... handed out 113 assists while pulling down 52 boards including 8 on the offensive glass... shot 26.9% (50-186) from the floor and 24.7% from deep (18-73)... at the free throw line she converted 82.2% (83-101)... posted season-highs in points (18) versus U-Mary, as well as assists (12) and rebounds (5) against Minnesota Crookston.

Prior to UIU: Sam Thrapp, a 5-7 guard from Davenport, Iowa, transferred to UIU from Des Moines Area Community College. With the Bears, she was named to the All-Region XI First Team and the All-Academic Region XI First Team. As a sophomore, Thrapp led the team in scoring and passing with 13.2 points and 4 assists per game while shooting 38.7% from the field, 35.6% from three and 82% from the charity stripe. As a freshman, Thrapp averaged 10 points and 4.21 assists per game. Prior to her two years at DMACC, Thrapp prepped at Davenport Assumption High School where she set school records in career starts and steals. Assumption claimed the Iowa State Title in 2008 and she was named as a First Team All-Conference and All-District performer. Thrapp lettered in basketball all four years of high school.
