Upper Iowa University Athletics

Taylor Vasa returns for her second season as Upper Iowa’s assistant women’s basketball coach heading into the 2023-24 campaign. Prior to UIU, Vasa spent three years with Dakota Wesleyan University and the Tiger women’s basketball program; she was the top assistant in her final year and a graduate assistant for two years prior.

Vasa graduated from Briar Cliff University in 2019 and competed for the Charger women’s basketball team in Sioux City, Iowa. Vasa played in 125 games at Briar Cliff starting 43 of those contests in her junior and senior seasons. The Arthur, Neb. native collected over 550 points and 450 rebounds in her time with the Chargers.

She obtained her Master's degree in educational policy and administration from Dakota Wesleyan in 2021 and a Bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2019.
