Upper Iowa University Athletics

Hope Koerperich has been named the Assistant Athletics Director for Internal Operations starting in April 2022. She will handle gameday management, facilities and ticketing as her primary duties. Koerperich will also serve as the sport administrator for women's tennis.

Koerperich has been with the Peacock track and field teams as a graduate assistant since the spring of 2020 after coming to from the University of Northern Iowa, where she graduated in December of 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in physical education along with a minor in coaching. 

At UNI, Koerperich played one season of softball and was a member of both the track and field and cross country teams for three seasons. She threw discus and javelin at UNI. Some of her career highlights include placing second in the discus throw at the 2018 Gibson Invitational with a score of 47.29m, placing second with a 45.40m finish in the javelin throw at the 2018 Wisconsin Twilight, placing first in the weight throw at the 2017 Jack Jennett Open with a throw of 53’5”, and placing first in the discus throw with a 162’9” mark at the 2017 Wartburg Outdoor Classic.

Prior to her time at UNI, Koerpich attended Dubuque Hempstead High School where she was a three-time state track participant in the shot put and discus as well as three-time Drake Relays qualifier.
