Daniel Peacock

Daniel Peacock is back for his second year with the bowling programs at UIU in 2020-21. Peacock joined the UIU bowling programs in 2019-20 for their inaugural season. Peacock primarily coaches the men's team and assists with the women's program. He is a USBC Silver Level certified coach, only 28 people in the bowling community currently hold this certification. Peacock comes from a long line of bowlers, he was inducted into a bowling hall of fame in 2005 and four members of his family are also in the bowling hall of fame including both of his parents.

Prior to his time at UIU, Peacock spent over 40 years as a youth bowling coach. At the helm of Dixon High School (Ill.) men's bowling program, Peacock led the team to two state tournaments. Peacock has been involved in the sport from several different perspectives, he has coached, competed at a high-level, owned a pro shop for eight years, and is a certified lane inspector. In his career as a bowler, Peacock qualified for 40 straight national tournaments and bowled 21 300-pin games.
