Mia Huberty scored nine points, while Jessica Musgrave tallied eight points and eight boards, including four on the offensive glass.

Lindsey Becher finished with game-highs of 25 points, 12 rebounds, and five steals on 8-16 from the floor and 9-12 from the free throw line. Reigning NSIC South Player of the Week Sydney Zgutowicz shot 2-11 overall and 1-6 from three, but she finished with 15 points thanks to a 10-12 clip from the charity stripe. Meghan DuBois scored 10 points thanks to a 7-12 clip from the free throw line after shooting 1-10 from the floor and 1-5 from deep. DuBois added seven rebounds and five assists, while Zgutowicz contributed six boards and three dimes. Riley Wheatcraft scored 12 points with five rebounds and pairs of assists, steals, and blocks.

After a 4-0 start from the Golden Bears, Becher poured in 11 of Concordia, St. Paul's following 13 points to help the home team build a seven-point lead. UIU faced a 17-11 deficit through one quarter after both teams shot below 30 percent from the floor, but a 6-10 clip from the charity stripe gave CSP the edge.

The cold shooting continued for the Peacocks in quarter two as UIU started just 1-8 from the floor after a 4-16 first-quarter clip. The Golden Bears shot 3-9 over the same stretch, but a 2-5 mark from three-point territory gave CSP a 25-15 lead with just over six minutes to play in the half. After a UIU timeout, Lexie Lodermeier turned the tide with four points over the next two UIU possessions. A steal from Huberty led to two freebies from Haack, and Huberty connected from downtown the next time down to cap a 9-0 run over 1:40 and four possessions. The push pulled the Peacocks within one, 25-24, and UIU faced a 30-28 halftime deficit.

The second half opened the same way as the first as the Golden Bears scored the first four points. The Peacocks responded with an 8-2 run to draw the game's first tie, 36-36, and UIU took their first lead, 40-38, after Emma Anderson snagged a steal and took it coast-to-coast.

Through the first six minutes of the third period, Upper Iowa out-shot Concordia, St. Paul 6-12 to 3-6 as UIU benefited from six CSP giveaways.
