The Upper Iowa University women's basketball team dropped game two of their double-header against Augustana University on the road. The Augies were powered by some hot shooting as they made 35 of 68 shots from the floor (51.5%) and went 13-27 (48.1%) from behind the 3PT line, scoring 21 or more in each of the four quarters to finish with a 92-42 victory. The Vikings boosted their record to 6-3 (5-2 NSIC) while the Peacocks fell to 1-9 (0-8 NSIC) on the season.

While the UIU offense struggled, the Vikings saw six players score in double-digits after having five double-figure scorers in game one of the double-header. Those six players combined to shoot 31-62 (50%) from the field and 13-26 (50%) from three. Those six Vikings also grabbed 39 of the 50 total Augie rebounds, which surpassed the Peacock total of 33, and out-assisted UIU 21-7 for the game.Â

- Lexie Lodermeier opened the game by scoring the first two points in the contest and finished by tying her season-high with 9 points. She also pulled down a team-high 8 rebounds for the Peacocks.Â
- Katie Tornstrom scored 8 points and added 4 rebounds in only 12 minutes for UIU, shooting 2-3 (66.7%) from the 3PT line and knocking down both of her free throw attempts.Â
- Brooke Evenson notched 8 points while also providing 6 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal for Upper Iowa.Â

- Izzy Van Veldhuizen led the Augies with a game-high 16 while and added 8 rebounds and 3 assists.Â
- Aislinn Duffy scored 15 points to go with 6 rebounds and 5 assists while shooting it at a 50/75/100 clip.Â
- Hannah Mitby contributed 14 points and game-highs of 9 rebounds and 6 assists.Â
- Lauren Sees, Janelle Shiffler, and Jennifer Aadland notched 13 points apiece for the Augies.Â

The Peacocks are set to host the Concordia University, St. Paul Golden Bears in a double-header at Dorman Memorial Gymnasium. The games are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 5-6, with the first game tipping off at 6 p.m. and game two being set for a 2 p.m. start.
