THIS WEEK IN PEACOCK WOMEN'S HOOPS… Upper Iowa will host the Blue Tigers of Lincoln University of Missouri on Tuesday night in Dorman Gym. The game will mark the teams' final contest before both head into their holiday breaks. The Peacocks will look to even their non-conference record at 4-4 with a win, but the Blue Tigers are looking to finish 2018 with a win to keep their hot start alive with their eighth win in ten tries.

GIVE ME FIVE… Natalie Dinius has converted three or more deep shots in eight of UIU's last nine contests. The sophomore shot 71.4 percent beyond the arc last weekend to add five 3-FG's to her season total (31), which is the most in the Northern Sun Conference. Dinius averages an NSIC-high 2.6 triples per contest and needs 20 more 3-pointers to match her 2017-18 season total that finished 6th in the NSIC.

SCOUTING THE BLUE TIGERS… Lincoln is making the trip to Iowa for the first time since the 1984-85 season on Tuesday evening. The Blue Tigers come into the matchup 7-2 overall after starting the season with seven straight wins but dropping their last two games against Missouri Western (62-61) and William Jewell (76-70). Three LU players are averaging double-digit points led by Zhanesha Dickerson (19.1 ppg), who has posted a double-double in seven of the past eight contests. Zoi Thompson (18.1 ppg) and Bre Coleman (17.0 ppg) round out the trio of top-scorers. Along with their scoring, Dickerson averages 10.2 rebounds, Thompson hands out a team-high 5.2 assists, and Coleman pulls down 8.0 boards per contest. As a unit, Lincoln ranks 16th in NCAA Division II in scoring defense (53.8) while rating 24th in field goal defense (.35) and 37th in three-point defense (.27). The Blue Tigers also have the country's 11th-best rebound margin (+11.7), 17th-highest free throw percentage (.78), and 26th-ranked field goal percentage (.45). 
 
THE SERIES… The Peacocks and Blue Tigers are meeting for the second time in program history. Last season, Upper Iowa traveled to Jefferson City and Lincoln claimed a 67-59 victory.
