Upper Iowa will round out their season-long, four-game road trip when they travel to North Dakota to take on the University of Mary and Minot State University on Friday and Saturday. HIGH-FIVE… Freshman guard
Natalie Dinius (#5) averaged 15.5 points per game last weekend for the Peacocks converting 12 of her 21 shots including 5-11 beyond the arc. The freshman also grabbed 4.5 rebounds per game. The Canby, Minnesota native recorded a new career-high of 18 points on Friday at Augustana University. She has registered 12 double-digit games this season and ranks third in the Northern Sun in three-point field goals made with 40.      Â

"STIEL"-ING ROSES… Redshirt junior guard
Ashley Rosenstiel leads the team in steals with 27 on the season, averaging 1.4 per game. The Oelwein, Iowa product also ranks third on the team in scoring with a 6.3 points per game thanks to her .433 shooting percentage. Last weekend, Rosenstiel averaged seven points per game with a high of 10 coming on Friday in Sioux Falls against the Vikings.

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS… The University of Mary is coming off of a weekend split after losing to the University of Minnesota Crookston on Friday, 85-74, before defeating Bemidji State University on Saturday, 68-58. The Marauders outscored the Golden Eagles 25-18 in the first quarter and 26-19 in the third; however, UMC outscored UM 25-8 in the second and 28-15 in the fourth en route to the 11-point win. On Saturday, UMary established a new season high at the free throw line converting on 28-of-34 attempts. Gabbie Bohl averaged 19 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks while converting 16-of-21 free throws on the weekend, including a 20-point performance at UMC. Cassie Askvig averaged 20 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on the weekend. Lauren Rotunda averaged 12 points and 4.5 rebounds on the weekend.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS... Minot State enters the weekend on a three-game winning streak after a weekend sweep. MiSU defeated BSU, 81-70, and UMC, 77-67. The weekend sweep was their first road sweep since January 10-11, 2014. The Beavers are currently 6-1 when scoring 70 or more points this season. MSU senior Holly Johnson is the reigning NSIC North Player of the Week. She averaged 23.5 points, seven rebounds and two steals on the weekend. On Friday, she scored 23 points, four assists and three steals against Bemidji State, before scoring 24 points and recording 12 rebounds, a new season-high, on Saturday versus Minnesota Crookston. Diondra Denton averaged 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds for the weekend while picking up her first double-double this year with 10 points and 11 rebounds against Bemidji State.
