The Peacock Volleyball traveled to St. Cloud, Minnesota to clash with NSIC foe St. Cloud State. Upper Iowa won set one 25-21, but St. Cloud rebounded with a 25-12 victory in set two. The Peacocks took set three 27-25 to take a 2-1 lead in the match, but were unable to close out the match as SCSU took game four 25-22 and the deciding fifth game 15-10.

Upper Iowa started the match red-hot as they recorded a .471 hitting percentage in set one, but slowly faded ending the match with a .236 percentage. The team registered 12 team blocks in the match.

Senior Shea Meyermann led the Peacock offensive attack as she tallied 16 kills, while Kayla Wagner added 14. Danielle Gernes was able to notch 34 digs. Senior setter Keri Vance dished out 54 assists. Wagner played big at the net with 8 blocks.

The Peacock Volleyball will return to Dorman Gym to take part in Homecoming weekend on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25 and 26. UIU will face off against Minnesota Duluth on Friday night at 7 p.m. and then return to Prochaska Court to line up against Bemidji State at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
