The Upper Iowa Men's Soccer team continued its three-match home stand Friday afternoon as they welcomed the Marauders of the University of Mary to Pattison Field in Fayette. The Marauders scored early in the 11th minute and held off the Peacocks for the remainder of the match to leave Fayette with a 1-0 victory.

U-Mary outshot Upper Iowa 8-7 including a 5-3 clip in shots on goal while also earning three more corner kicks than UIU. Peacock goalkeeper, Andy Youde, stopped three shots in the match.

The Peacocks will be back on the pitch Sunday when #8 ranked Truman State visits Fayette for a 3 p.m. showdown on Pattison Field.
