Upper Iowa played host to the Chargers of Briar Cliff University on Sunday afternoon in the team's final match of the 2008 season. The two teams locked up in a shootout that saw seven goals marked on the scoreboard. The Peacocks were able to notch the final goal to win the match 4-3. With the win, Upper Iowa finished their season with a 10-7-1 record. The team owns the program's winningest record in history and the first winning season as well.

Goals were scored by Jacob Rasbeck, Tony Varnava, Jason Olsgard, and Zach Castor.

Joey Gates picked up the victory in goal for Upper Iowa.
