In game five, Upper Iowa took an early lead, but Bemidji State rallied back and found themselves ahead 8-5 as the teams switched ends. The Peacocks attempted a late rally but could not find the points at the end and lost game five 15-11 and the match 3-2.

The Beavers were led by Nicole Olson (18 kills, 1 solo block, 9 assisted blocks), Brittney Burns (17 kills), Alicia Beaman (53 assists), and Laura Vonasek (22 digs).
