The Peacocks were coming off a frustrating weekend in Missouri and took their angst out on the host Saints. Upper Iowa won the match 3-0 and dominated game three to put an exclamation point on the win. The victory improved UIU's record to 3-9 overall, while dropping Ashford's record to 3-9 overall.

After a weekend of lost opportunities against Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State, the team came together and played well to sweep Ashford on the road. The Peacocks won game one by the score of 30-26 scoring the final five points of the game thanks to a pair of kills from both Shea Meyermann and Darcy Hageman. In game two, the visitors trailed early, but found their stride and made two four-point runs to take the lead on the serves of Kim Humpal and Keri Vance. UIU scored nine of the final thirteen points to pull away 30-23.

The team came out of the break fired up and took an early 16-9 lead. The Peacocks pulled away behind the serves of Vance, who served the final nine points of the match to give Upper Iowa a 30-15 victory and the 3-0 sweep.

Hageman led the Peacock offensive attack with 11 kills, while Meyermann and Keely Jones tallied 10 and Beth Deutmeyer drove home 8. Meyermann (.474), Jones (.400), and Hageman (.280) all hit very well for the game. Vance handed out 34 asssits. The Peacock defense was led by Meyermann, 14 digs, Hageman, 12 digs, and Vance 12 digs. The deciding factor in the game was the play of the Peacocks at the net. Upper Iowa picked up one solo block and 22 assisted blocks on the night. Deutmeyer led the block party with 8 assisted blocks, while Meyermann added 5, Jones sent 4 back and added the only solo block, and Hageman assisted on 3.
