A late run by St. Cloud gave them a ten point lead in the half, but Upper Iowa was able to cut the lead back to four points at half 37-33. The Peacock rally before half was sparked by an Alex Kramer jumper and an A.J. Adkins three-pointer. The Huskies took control of the game early in the second half thanks to a 20-6 run that gave the home team a 17-point lead with twelve minutes to play. St. Cloud State closed out the victory and extended the final margin to 72-49.
Freshman Matt Lesan led the Peacocks in scoring with 15 points, while Storm Schmitt and Marcus Uhlenhopp both netted 8 points.
