Peacock Arts & Athletic Center (PAAC)

The Peacock Arts & Athletics Center or the PAAC was acquired by Upper Iowa in 2018 and will be donated to the university following the duration of a five-year lease. The 30,000 square foot building located south of Harms-Eischeid Stadium was formerly known as the Ideal Industries building but now houses the Upper Iowa art department as well as a training facility for the UIU baseball, softball and golf teams. The athletic side of the building includes offices for both the baseball and golf coaching staffs, locker rooms for all four teams, a putting green, four tees/hitting nets, four batting cages, and a multipurpose turf for baseball/softball training. The PAAC also includes a team room where student-athletes can relax over a game of pool, table tennis or skeeball. The biggest perk of the PAAC is its vast space that allows for coaches to be present during individual workouts throughout the day, while also providing student-athletes with 24/7 access giving them the freedom to practice on their own.
