On Friday night, #Sara Vance# became just the second member of the Thousand-Thousand Club at Upper Iowa. The senior from Tampa, Florida notched her 1,000th dig in the third set of tonight's loss to Minnesota State. Vance joins recent graduate, Shea Meyermann, as the only Peacock volleyball players in history to reach this milestone. Meyermann posted 1,305 kills and 1,360 digs in her career; Vance now has 1,135 kills and 1,026 digs with six matches left in her career.
Upper Iowa will travel to the University of Minnesota, Crookston and Minnesota State University Moorhead this coming Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29, for a pair of NSIC road matches.
