Dana Murata paced the Upper Iowa women's bowling team to a third-place finish at the Peacock Classic in Waterloo, Iowa. Murata posted an average of 176.3 pins in the team traditional format with percentages of 94.4% on single-pin spares, 55.6% on multiple-pin spares and 80% on fills. In the Baker format games, Murata notched a 197.0 pin average with percentages of 90.5% on single-pin spares, 73.9% on multiple-pin spares and 87.8% on fills.
