Ihde opened UIU's non-conference home opener against Central Missouri at 125 pounds and got the No. 7 Peacocks off on the right foot with a win by fall. The junior used a first-period takedown and a four-point nearfall to jump out to a 6-0 lead. Ihde wasted little time in the second period scoring another takedown and four-point nearfall that led to a win by fall (3:42) midway through the period. The win was Ihde's second win by fall of the season. Upper Iowa improved to 2-1 on the year after winning the dual 32-6 behind eight match victories.
