On Saturday afternoon, the Peacocks closed out the NSIC Women’s Golf Championships with a four-round total of 1326 to finish 5th in the 11-team field.  Jill Preeshl's final round 75 split a three-way tie atop the tournament's leaderboard and earned her tournament medalist honors. Preeshl entered the second half of the Championships in third place, but rounds of 73 and 75 allowed her to win the event by two strokes over Maggie Leland, of Augustana.

Newcomer Caral Martinson fired a final round 82 to go along with her round of 75 on Friday. The Union, Wash.-native wasn't eligible to place in the tournament since she didn't compete in the first two rounds which took place this past fall at Hillcrest Country Club in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Junior McKenzie Holthaus recorded a 17th place finish with a final round score of 84.
