Brinn Grunder of the women's indoor track and field team won two event titles at the Liz Wuertz Indoor Invite hosted by Wartburg College. Grunder finished the regular season with a pair of first place finishes in shot put and weight throw. The senior finished with season-best marks in both events, while hitting the NCAA provisional qualifying marks in each. Grunder posted a mark of 14.87 meters in the shot put, the best throw in the NSIC this season and 11th-best in NCAA Division II, before tossing the weight throw 18.09 meters, which ranks ninth in the conference. UIU will compete at the NSIC Championships this Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 27-29 in Mankato, Minn.
