Anastasia Dabiza finished a perfect 6-0 this weekend after winning three doubles matches with her partner Courtney Romer and claiming three singles wins to boot.
The Peacock sophomore's doubles team won by counts of 8-0, 8-4 and 8-1 against opponents from Minnesota, Crookston, Northern State and St. Cloud State over the weekend.
Dabiza was even more impressive on her own. She needed only 38 games to win her three matches in straight sets dropping only two games to her opponents.
Her season records now stand at 11-3 in both doubles and singles, inlcuding an 8-0 mark for Dabiza and Romer in duals and a 6-0 mark against Northern Sun Conference opponents.
UIU recorded a 9-0 dominating win against Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday morning before taking an 8-1 decision over Northern State in the afternoon. On Sunday, Upper Iowa took on the Huskies of SCSU in a non-conference match and lost 6-3.
The Peacocks will now prepare for a trip to Orlando, Florida over spring break. The team will compete in five matches from March 6-11. Their opponents include Wesleyan, Rockhurst, Saginaw Valley State, Berry and Grand Valley State.
