Tyus Adkins threw a masterful two-hit, complete game shutout for the Peacocks recording two strikeouts in the final game of the weekend series with St. Cloud State; for the week, Adkins threw 12 innings, including 3 innings of relief against Augie, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits for a 1.50 ERA. The win was his first of the season, but second straight complete game, nine-inning victory at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud, Minn. Last April, Adkins allowed just one run on seven hits while striking out four Huskies. SCSU was ranked No. 1 in the country a season ago at the time of Adkins' win.?
