Four Peacocks wrestled on day two of the tournament led by heavyweight Logan Hopp, who entered the second day after a perfect 3-0 run on Saturday. Hopp earned three wins by decision to reach the semifinals where he faced undefeated Garrett Gray of Tiffin University. Gray came away with the first-period pin, but Hopp bounced back with a win by fall over Dylan Faulkenberg of the U-Indy in the consolation semis to earn a shot at third place. Andy Welton of Mercyhurst got the better of Hopp in a high-scoring affair for third winning by decision 12-7. The #7 Peacock wrestling team wrapped up their two days of competition at the 38^th Annual Midwest Classic hosted by the University of Indianapolis on Sunday. Upper Iowa placed 10^th as a team.
