#33 Alex George (OF, 6-2, 195, So., R/R, Bloomington, Minn., Thomas Jefferson HS)
  • Hit .395 in 10 games in Clearwater, Fla. With 17 hits including 7 extra base hits
  • Slugged .628 for the Peacocks with 5 doubles, a triple and a homerun
  • Drove in a team-high 13 rbi’s and scored 12 times (second on the team)
  • Picked up 3 assists from his right field position while making 24 putouts
 
Team:
  • The Peacocks (7-5) went 7-3 on their trip to Clearwater, Fla. and are currently riding a five-game win streak
  • UIU hit .336 as a team and slugged .427 with 21 doubles, 4 triples and a homerun
  • Upper Iowa posted wins over Mansfield (2), Tiffin (2), Ohio Valley (2) and Minnesota Crookston, while their three losses came to Mansfield, Tiffin and Kentucky Wesleyan
  • In addition to Kulick’s win, Charley Cunningham, Tyus Adkins, Mason Buster, Dan Cwiertniak and Cody Heiman (2) all registered wins.  Zach Carstens claimed the only other save registered by UIU in addition to Kulick’s four
