· Rinken put the exclamation point on the first half of the UIU-MSU dual with a win by fall (6:37) over Adam Cooling (#5 NWCA) at 157 pounds
· Rinken was leading 3-2 with ride time at the time of the pin, which came with a little over twenty seconds to go in the final period
· With the win, Rinken improved to 26-7 with 9 falls, 4 tech falls and 3 major decisions

· The #10 Peacock wrestling team defeated rival Minnesota State University, Mankato in the Taylor Center for the first time last Thursday night. Upper Iowa entered the dual winless at the Mavericks home arena in Mankato, but three bonus-point wins paced the visitors to a big win on the road, 27-10. With the victory, Upper Iowa improved to 11-2 overall and 6-0 in the Northern Sun
· Matt Paulus picked up a 15-0 tech fall at 133, while Dalton Westerlund added a 9-1 major decision at 174 pounds
· Jordan Roths, Trevor Duke, Blake Sorensen and Logan Hopp all earned decisions to give UIU the win
· Upper Iowa will face #17 Augustana College on Thursday in Sioux Falls, S.D. at 7 p.m. before returning to Fayette to face #2 St. Cloud State University on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. in Dorman Gym. Upper Iowa, Augustana and St. Cloud State all remain undefeated in the Northern Sun Conference as the season winds down.
