Jessie Hubbard has been named the NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week after leading the Peacocks to a 21-20 upset victory over Wayne State. Hubbard returned the second half’s opening kick 92 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 14-14 after a two-point conversion. The wide receiver then caught a 24-yard touchdown pass to give UIU a 21-14 lead near the end of the third quarter. Hubbard caught 10 passes for 78 yards and added 114 yards in kick returns.
