Edwin Cooper (149, R-So., Chicago, Ill.) and Carl Broghammer (197, R-Sr., Manchester, Iowa) led the Peacocks to a 15th place finish as a team at the 2014 NCAA Division II Championships in Cleveland, Ohio. The two wrestlers earned NCAA All-American honors at the event. Cooper went 3-1 to claim the National Runner-up position at 149 pounds, while Broghammer claimed third place at 197 pounds for the third time in his stories career with a 4-1 record. Both wrestlers finished the season with 42-4 records and Broghammer completed his career at Upper Iowa with 142 wins, the new all-time wins mark in Peacock wrestling history. A pair of redshirt freshmen, Jordan Roths and Logan Hopp, both won a match before their seasons came to an end; Roths victory was a major decision earning a bonus point for the Peacocks. The final national qualifier was Matt Paulus, who lost a two-point decision in his opening round before losing his first match on the consolation side of the bracket.
