Madie Edwards scored a pair of goals and added an assist for five points in UIU’s bounce-back victory over St. Cloud State on Sunday. The sophomore now has three goals on the year for the Peacocks.

Upper Iowa went 1-1 in NSIC matches this past weekend. After a 2-0 loss to Minnesota Duluth, the Peacocks stormed back with a 5-1 performance at St. Cloud State on Sunday. Aimee Wronski and Madie Edwards each scored a pair of goals and had an assist, while Kali Loescher netted her second goal of the season. Trina Gallaher, Lauren Rohrmeier and Corinne Wronski all posted assists in the match. The Peacocks will hit the road for their longest trip of the season with a weekend in North Dakota. Upper Iowa will line up against the Marauders of the University of Mary in Bismarck on Friday, Sept. 27 at 3 p.m. UIU will then head farther west to face the Beavers of Minot State University in Minot on Sunday at 1 p.m.
