Upper Iowa University Athletics

Sanger was a four-year letter winner during his football career at Upper Iowa. In 1966, his rushing yardage hit the 1,000 mark. He has been an educator and coach at Britt High School since graduating from UIU. His coaching accomplishments include six conference championship, a state championship, seven state playoffs(five were consecutive). He was named the IFCA districh coach of the year twice, and he has a coaching record of 121-83.
