Fogle holds a girls basketball career coaching record of 463-106, with eight of his teams playing in the state championships. His 22 years as a coach included 15 years of coaching football with a 77-34 record (three undefeated teams); girls track state championship; girls basketball championship. He received the Golden Plaque of Distinction Award for Iowa Girls Coaches. He was also named Iowa Association of Track Coach of the Year. He earned a master's degree from Colorado State Teachers College and did graduate work at five universities. He is retired and loves in Crosslake, Minn.
