2016-17: Wrestled in six tournaments... placed fourth at the Luther Open... placed fourth at the Auggie-Adidas Open.

2015-16: Wrestled in five tournaments... placed third at the Kaye Young Open... went 2-1 in season against Waldorf, Truman State, and Nebraska-Kearney... placed fifth at the Luther Open... finished sixth at the Auggie-Adidas Open.

2014-15: Wrestled unattached in five tournaments as a freshman... placed fifth at the Luther Open... finished fourth at the Luther L. Hill Invitational... placed fourth at the Flash Flanagan Open... won the Loras Duhawk Open.

High School: Three-time state qualifier... finished runner up and earned a fifth place finish.

Personal: Born August 28, 1995... son of Joe and Tina Nelson and brother of current Peacock wrestler Dalton... industrial technical education major.
